Centric butterfly valves with soft sealing are widely used due to their relatively low price and simple design. These butterfly valves can be used as shut-off valves as well as control valves. Butterfly valves with rubber lining offer a wide variety of applications. These butterfly valves are designed for liquids and gases up to 150 °C. As the working medium in this type of butterfly valve design is not in contact with the valve body, the valves can be used with the cast body in fluids such as water, seawater, acid, alkali, petroleum products, natural gas and others. The main advantages of butterfly valves are their low price, reliability, small size and weight. Depending on the type of working medium and the operating conditions, our engineers will recommend a material for the seal. The following seals are available: EPDM, NBR, FMP (Viton). Silicone butterfly valves from Aurum Pumpen GmbH have a "one-piece" seal, which ensures increased service life and double-sided tightness class A. The valve is designed to be sealed with a single seal. The butterfly valves function just as reliably with such seals in the vacuum systems. We use cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron, steel and stainless steel as material housings. On request, we can manufacture these butterfly valves in a bronze housing.
Habermann Aurum can offer you different types of butterfly valves: intermediate flange design, intermediate flange construction with eye plates, with one flange, flange construction, abbreviated variant, double flange construction.
We can offer you pneumatic single- and double-acting actuators with various additional equipment such as: positioner, solenoid valve, limit switches or electric actuator, also we can offer you lever and manual override operated butterfly valves.
